Johnson County Public Library Services and Programs
Here is a list of most of the services that the library provides. If you have any question please

Activities
- We have a large selection of books that is growing daily.
- Over 45 different selection of magazines to read.
- DVD's and VHS tapes to rent. See our library policy on renting DVD's and VHS
- We have three computers for high speed internet access. Please see our library policy on the
internet access.
- We have two computers for word processing.
- Card catalog is on computers in front.
- Into genealogy or just want to check out some of Kentucky's history stop by
our Patricia Patton Kentucky Room. There should be enough material
to get you going.
- Need a newspaper article for school work or project. We can look articles by subject on
Info Trac Magazine Data Base to help you.
Documents
- Copy service of .20cents per page if you bring your own material or .10cents per page if you
find something in the library to copy.
- We have a fax machine. It is $2.00 for the first page and a $1.00 for each additional page.
- Income Tax Forms we have at the first of the year.
Bookmobile
- Want the library to come to you! The JCPL Bookmobile will come
to your home or a community stop to bring the articles to you.
Interlibrary Loans
- Need a book that we don't have just ask one of the librarians to Interlibrary Loan a book for
you. Please allow up to two weeks to receive the book.
Meeting Room
Creek Side Community Room is available to non-profit organizations during business hours.
Available for public and civic use, this room is equipped with the "Data Projector
Program" and "Highland Informative Hot Spot" which consists of:
- Flat Plasma Wall Screen
- LCD Projector
- VCR
- Pioneer Sound System
- Motorola 48-Bit DSP Processing
- Wireless Connection
- 11 Ultra Lap Top Computers for instructional workshops and net meetings.
Workshops are free to the public
You must call to reserve the community room.
